Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group is a brand new Group formed this year and positively uniting physical health care services in the community and in our hospitals across Lincolnshire; a foundation for the integration of care, improvement and future sustainability.  Our purpose is to benefit the health and well-being of people in our communities and to focus our resource towards prevention and self-care.   We are situated in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire, serving a population of more than 750,000 people.  We provide community, acute and specialist services in three acute hospitals, several community hospitals, other community locations and in our patient’s homes. Our annual income is c£874m, and we employ approximately 11,000 dedicated staff.

Following the appointment of Professor Karen Dunderdale as Group Chief Executive, we are now seeking a Group Chief Finance Officer as a full Executive Director of Lincolnshire Community Health Services Trust and United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (the Group) and member of the new unitary Group Board.  Working as part of an integrated team you will provide strategic leadership to the finance and procurement functions and make a major contribution to the development and achievement of our purpose, vision, aims and objectives.  We recognise that outstanding care can only be delivered through our people working to co-design services with our population.  We are building an inclusive and progressive Group Board who will work in true partnership with our stakeholders and communities. 

At this exciting time in our evolution as well as a time of significant financial pressure, we require a dynamic, resilient and inclusive finance leader to move our Group into the next phase of integration.  We are seeking an inspiring and experienced individual operating at or close to Board level within the NHS or other comparably complex, multi-professional organisation.  A champion for inclusion, you will bring a track record of leading and developing teams through change, quickly building credibility with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver transformation in collaboration across organisational boundaries. Positive and innovative, this role will allow you to maximise the opportunities of our new group model to reduce inequalities in our population and support the continuous quality improvement and sustainability of our services for the future.
